I know this isn’t related to the picture but I figure if what helped me can help others I might as well put it in a caption where it is visible and can possibly help some people. I went through a period of depression for about a year that was really difficult to get out of. Normally, I’m a very happy and positive person so this was a very unusual state of mind I was experiencing. My mind was in a really negative state and it felt like everything was just going downhill and it was one negative thing after a negative thing. I felt helpless. I got to a point where I got fed up with feeling that way and decided I was going to put a stop to it. I prayed for guidance one night (btw- I’m not really religious but more spiritual-and yes what I’m referring to there is a clear difference amongst the two but I won’t go into it here) So In a matter of like 2 days! I came across my guidance as an accident . The universe has strange ways of putting stuff in front of you that you need In your life and you need to be in alert mode to not miss these signs. I’ll summarize the tips and not go in the the long story as I’m limited in words here lol: 1. READ! READ! I love reading books but I’m sure a lot of you guys might see it as boring but when you read a good book that can change your life it’s really worth making the effort. (Read self improvement and spirituality books) (I buy Ebooks) 2. Be aware of every thought you have. Maybe even write them down to be aware. Then put a stop to all negative thoughts. Only allow positive thoughts in your mind. Keep in mind that your thoughts turn into your reality so it’s important to only have positive thoughts that will serve you. 3. Learn how to meditate & do it daily. You can get apps that help you do it. Or watch YouTube videos to guide you if you’re a beginner. 4. Practice being grateful for what you have. (In the shower or before I go to bed, I practice a gratitude meditation daily). If you aren’t grateful for what you have you are in a negative state and are not opening yourself up to receive positive things. 5. Stop complaining, this is a really bad habit.
